Job Summary: The Pipefitter will lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, weld, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial processing systems. Pipefitter Duties and Responsibilities: • Layout, fit, assemble, and install various pipe systems • Inspect work for correct installation and best practices for specifications • Follow detailed work and plans of installation for job • Cuts pipe using saw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine • Threads pipe using threading machine • Bends pipe using pipe bending tools • Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including steel, copper, HDPE, and PVC • Connects pipes using threaded, welding, grooved, soldered, brazes, fused, and hand tools • Secures pipes to structure with brackets, anchors, pipe stands, clamps, and hangers • Determine the appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions such as vertical, horizontal, or overhead Qualifications: • Ability to read and understand blueprints, documents, and submittals • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time • Ability to bend and twist • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 60lbs • Ability to climb ladders We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success. Welder/Fabricator/Pipe Fitter

The Welder/Fabricator/Pipefitter will assist in developing the company's welding department and maintaining welding equipment. This position will apply their knowledge to the company's marine, industrial, and manufacturing clientele, as well as apply their mechanical aptitude to act as a mechanic when assigned. The welder/Fabricator must be proficient with Tig and Mig processes, and the ideal candidate will be required to successfully pass a 3G, 4G, and 6G welder qualification with aluminum, stainless steel, steel, and copper-nickel. Candidates must have 3-5 years of previous experience with maritime standard industry practices of various welding processes. This position requires up to 25% - 50% travel per year. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders. • Must follow the direction of the project supervisor. • Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools. • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by brazing, cementing, soldering, pressing, and threading joints. • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods. • Measure and mark pipes for proper installation. • Lay out of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following plans, details, and specifications. • Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications and details. • Other duties as assigned. • Must be able to use an Oxygen and Acetylene Torch to cut steel pipe • Must always put SAFETY FIRST. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. • Must be able to perform multiple tasks safely and with quality. • Must be able to work inside and outside. • Must be able to work at various heights above floor with ladder, scaffold, and manlift when required. • Must be able to work in excavated trenches. • Must have reliable transportation and willing to go to jobsites in the areas we work. • Must own all hand tools needed to perform as a pipefitter as described in WRN's tool list. • Must have knowledge of the piping system being installed (chilled water, heated water, steam, condensate, etc.). • Must understand construction terms. • Must be able to work overtime as required. • Bring optimization to work every day. • Always be in control of your destiny. • Never stop learning. • Confidentiality is essential.
