We are seeking experienced Mechanical / Underground Pipefitter Foreman for a project in Bradenton, FL. Pay range from $35-$38 depending on experience. NO PER DIEM. Please contact Chris Smith at (941) 875-3051 for more information. Responsibilities • Layout, excavation and install of underground utilities. The layout and install of above ground mechanical piping and supports. Experience in the installation of ductile iron, PVC and C900 pipe and fittings. • Must have experience in layout of above and underground piping systems, Installing pumps and mechanical systems. • Grade Checking and use of standard pipe lasers, use of GPS modeling equipment, and level & grade rod for calculating elevations and slopes are among the list of tasks that each crew member must perform. Qualifications • Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications • Able to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulations • Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor • Must have experience setting mechanical equipment including boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, dirt/air separators, and heat exchanges • Ability to set up and perform piping tests • Must have reliable transportation to jobsite. • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others • Ability to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen Foreman • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
