Your Responsibilities will be: • Demonstrate professional competency & workmanship in the execution of welding/pipefitting. • Contribute to the plant equipment safety, performance and reliability improvement. • Responsibly manage the time and resources allocated on every job. • Accurately reading and understanding blueprints and schematics to determine pipe layout, dimensions, and welding specifications. • Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to the required dimensions using hand and power tools. • Installing pipe fittings and components according to project specifications. • Performing various welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG) to join pipes securely, ensuring proper penetration and bead quality. • Visually inspecting welds for defects, ensuring proper alignment and quality. • Following all safety protocols related to welding, including proper PPE usage and working in confined spaces. • Maintaining and cleaning welding equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. • Lifting and positioning heavy pipes and components as needed. • Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during pipe installation or welding. • Maintaining accurate records of materials used and work completed Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Graduate of Welding school like PTECH • 3-5 years’ experience in welding and assembly is required.
