Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and pipefitting, with experience in various environments including construction and manufacturing. This role requires a keen understanding of blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Pipefitter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities • Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems in accordance with blueprints and schematics. • Perform MIG, FCAW, and TIG welding as required for various projects. • Execute fire sprinkler fitting tasks when necessary. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to complete installations. • Conduct tube bending and soldering operations to ensure proper fit and function of piping systems. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate installations. • Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems and plumbing. • Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. • Adhere to safety protocols while rigging materials and working in manufacturing environments. Qualifications • Proven experience in pipefitting or related fields such as plumbing or maintenance. • Strong skills in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and soldering. • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of mechanical schematics. • Experience using calipers for precise measurements. • Knowledge of pipeline assembly techniques. • Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to pipefitting tasks. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
