Job Summary: The Pipefitter will lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, weld, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial processing systems. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship in pipefitting, HVAC, or refrigeration preferred. • 1 year of experience as a pipefitter in commercial or industrial HVAC/refrigeration construction. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and piping drawings. • Strong understanding of piping codes, safety regulations, and mechanical system components. • Ability to safely operate pipe threading machines, welding/brazing equipment, and power tools. • Basic math, measurement, and layout skills. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
