Job Summary: The Pipefitter will lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, weld, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial processing systems. Pipefitter Duties and Responsibilities: • Layout, fit, assemble, and install various pipe systems • Inspect work for correct installation and best practices for specifications • Follow detailed work and plans of installation for job • Cuts pipe using saw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine • Threads pipe using threading machine • Bends pipe using pipe bending tools • Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including steel, copper, HDPE, and PVC • Connects pipes using threaded, welding, grooved, soldered, brazes, fused, and hand tools • Secures pipes to structure with brackets, anchors, pipe stands, clamps, and hangers • Determine the appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions such as vertical, horizontal, or overhead Qualifications: • Ability to read and understand blueprints, documents, and submittals • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time • Ability to bend and twist • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 60lbs • Ability to climb ladders We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success. Pipefitter, 2nd shift

Description We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of complex and difficult work to devise, fabricate, modify, install, repair and maintain various piping systems and related equipment for facility and industrial use. Key Responsibilities: • Work from complex schematics, drawings, specifications and verbal instructions to layout, install, modify and repair complex piping/plumbing and related equipment. • Inspect, test and approve jobs upon completion. • Perform preventive maintenance procedures and respond to and/or support a wide variety of facility related hazardous and non-hazardous emergencies throughout the plant site. • Operate and maintain compressed air for plant operations; troubleshoot and repair systems as required. • Consult with supervision and/or engineering on the most unusual problems and recommend corrective actions/solutions. • Install, modify and repair hazardous chemical systems. • Comply with all Company, Federal and State Environmental and Safety regulations and procedures. This position requires a High school diploma or GED and experience with commercial plumbing systems including commercial restrooms. State of Florida Backflow Tester certification is also required. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Marine Pipefitters for immediate hire in Tampa, FL! PAY: $28/hour for locals, $17 and $150 per diem for travelers START DATE: ASAP DURATION: 8+ months HOURS: 7AM-5PM Mon-Fri, 8 hours on Sat; 58 hours per week! DUTIES: • Install and maintain fuel, ballast, hydraulic, and steam piping on ships. • Work with copper-nickel, stainless steel, aluminum, and high-strength alloys due to corrosion resistance. • Specialize in marine-grade welding, flanges, and press-fit systems. • Work around high-pressure steam, hydraulics, and fuel lines.
