General Construction Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and building tasks. Duties • Assist with site setup, including clearing debris, unloading materials, and preparing work areas for construction activities • Carry out basic construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, and painting under supervision • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support various construction activities • Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies needed for ongoing projects • Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members • Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance with specialized tasks as needed • Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of waste and keeping tools and materials properly stored • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues or hazards immediately Requirements • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions • Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork • Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members • Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures is preferred but not required; training will be provided • Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities on-site • Valid driver’s license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment when necessary Nice-to-Have Skills • Previous experience in construction or manual labor roles • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards or relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30-hour training) • Ability to operate basic machinery or equipment such as forklifts or scaffolding (certifications are advantageous) Join us in building something great!
