Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Laborer to join our team at Arizona Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction, including material handling, site preparation, installation of softscapes, construction of hardscapes, irrigation and lighting, equipment operation, maintenance, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites. • Assisting in clearing, grubbing, and preparing sites for landscape installation. • Performing tasks such as spreading topsoil, laying sod, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as applying mulch and fertilizer. • Assisting with the building and repair of various landscape structures, including constructing walkways, patios, decks, fences, and retaining walls. • Working with irrigation materials, digging trenches, gluing pipes, running wires, and assisting with the installation, activation, and repair of sprinkler and outdoor lighting systems. • Safely operating various hand and power tools, as well as small engine equipment. • Performing routine groundskeeping tasks like mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding. • Adhering to all company policies, safety regulations, and instructions from supervisors to ensure a safe work environment.

As the Assistant Construction Supervisor, you’ll guide families as they build their own homes through the Self-Help Program. You’ll ensure safe, efficient worksites, train participants in construction skills, and keep projects on schedule—all while fostering teamwork and confidence among the families you mentor. • Supervise clients/volunteers in the building of homes under the Self-help TA grant guidelines.
