Work involves the restoration and replication of architectural stone elements requiring advanced hand-tool techniques and precision craftsmanship. This is a full-time, temporary position working Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. No overtime available. Wage: $27.50 per hour. Pay is weekly, at least every two weeks or more frequently, as is standard practice. Primary Duties: · Shape, cut, and carve stone blocks using traditional banker masonry methods. · Replicate intricate and ornamental masonry details based on original designs and historical references. · Restore stone elements surrounding stained glass windows and the building’s skylight, ensuring compatibility with existing materials. · Repair and reconstruct interior stonework and restore finely crafted architectural elements. · Maintain the structural and aesthetic integrity of all original masonry and related features.
