Duties As a Construction Laborer, your responsibilities will include: • Assisting skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks such as framing, roofing, and siding installation. • Preparing job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools. • Loading and unloading materials from trucks and transporting them to designated areas on-site. • Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. • Performing general maintenance tasks as needed to keep the job site clean and organized. • Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Experience While prior experience in construction is preferred, it is not mandatory. We welcome candidates who are: • Eager to learn new skills and techniques in the construction field. • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods. • Familiar with basic hand tools and power tools (a plus). • Committed to adhering to safety standards on the job site. • Team players who can work well with others in a collaborative environment. About the Role KE Construction is seeking a skilled and motivated Superintendent to take charge of daily operations at our commercial and industrial construction sites. You'll be the driving force on-site, managing crews, subcontractors, materials, and ensuring quality control—while keeping our projects on time and on budget. If you’re a hands-on leader with a strong work ethic and a passion for building, we want you on our team. Responsibilities • Lead all aspects of job site execution • Maintain and manage the construction schedule, including 3-week lookaheads • Oversee weekly subcontractor coordination meetings • Review plans and specs; identify and address discrepancies • Ensure job site safety and enforce OSHA compliance • Supervise and train Foremen and crew members • Implement and track change orders • Monitor quality control and site productivity • Maintain organized job site documentation • Perform carpentry, painting, or finishing tasks as needed • Maintain job site cleanliness and organization throughout the project Qualifications • Proven experience in construction supervision or as a Foreman • Deep knowledge of construction processes, materials, and codes • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore • OSHA knowledge and certification in telehandler, scissor lift, and boom lift operation • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • English literacy for verbal and written instructions Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role.
