CNC Operator Qualifications: • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. • One to two years of operating CNC plasma machines preferred. • Valid State Driver’s License. • Forklift Certified preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Promotes, executes, and adheres to the company’s safety program. • Loads and unloads trucks with raw and processed steel material by safely operating a forklift. • Creates and/or uploads programs via PC to specific CNC machine to process steel materials. • Processes and handles small to large pieces of steel materials via CNC machines. • Carries and moves supplies as needed. • Cuts various parts of product assembly. • Cuts standard parts for stock in shop area as needed. • General cleaning and maintenance of CNC machine area. • Coordinates with supervisor to track material need for all projects and stock items.Performs other duties or task as required based on company’s needs.
