Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Mill Machinist located in Carencro, LA. The Mill Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machines and setting up machinery to produce precision components for various industries which includes Oil & Gas, Space, and Defense. They will interpret technical drawings, measure finished parts, and ensure quality standards are met. Mazak 4 Axis Mills and DMG Mori 5 Axis Mills Qualifications • CNC Machining, Machine Operation, and Programming skills • Experience with interpreting technical drawings and measurements • Knowledge of precision machining techniques • Ability to troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed • Strong attention to detail and quality control • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Experience with 5 axis machining is a plus • High School diploma or equivalent, technical training preferred

CNC Operator/Machinist

About the position The AWS Level 4 CNC Machinist Technician position at Caterpillar is a critical role within the Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, Indiana.
