Job Summary: Greener Blast Energy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate high-quality parts and components used in our slurry blasting equipment. This role requires precision, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders, according to production schedules and engineering specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations and sequences. • Load raw materials into CNC machines and select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine programs. • Monitor machine operations for accuracy, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision and quality. • Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure compliance with specifications. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues promptly. • Maintain clean and organized work areas adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA standards. • Document production activities, machine settings, and quality control checks accurately. • Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to continuously improve machining processes and product quality. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred. • Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment (minimum 2 years preferred). • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints. • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes. • Experience using precision measuring tools and conducting quality inspections. • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with CNC equipment. • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle machinery and materials safely. • Commitment to safety procedures and continuous improvement.
