Parts Service Representative

Job Title: Parts Specialist Deliver exceptional customer service to retail and installer customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Implement company customer service programs with integrity. • Provide prompt, courteous assistance to walk-in customers, aiding in their selection of merchandise. • Support managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed. • Complete assigned training relevant to the position. • Answer phone calls according to company policy, accurately locate parts and quote prices, recommend premium items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee. • Maintain cash security, accept cash and checks, make accurate change, and process credit transactions. • Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, adhering to company policies and procedures. • Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner. • Assist with daily tasks, including image maker updates, planogram stocking, freight reception, cleaning, and other operational duties. • Perform various daily tasks, such as preparing new, core, and warranty merchandise returns for shipping, assisting with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, and operating brake lathe equipment after corresponding training. • Offer in-store services to customers (where state and local laws allow), including install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging systems, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules, etc. • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate, meeting company driving eligibility requirements. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. • Exemplary communication skills, providing outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service. • Capacity to multitask, handling phone calls and in-store customers simultaneously. Desirable Skills: • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service. • ASE certification. • Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
