About the position NIBCO is seeking a qualified Machinist / Tool Maker to join our Tool Room team in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building production tooling to exacting tolerances in a tool room environment with minimal supervision. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Tool and Die design as well as metal forming characteristics. The Machinist will work primarily on the 2nd or 3rd shift, following a schedule of four 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday. In this role, the Machinist will utilize various tool room equipment to construct production tooling. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and repairing tooling and dies, assisting with tool and die design and development, maintaining good housekeeping practices, promoting safe work practices, and performing any other duties assigned by the department manager. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of their work, contributing to NIBCO's reputation for exceptional quality and innovation in the flow control industry.
