QualificationsExperience: • Minimum 3 years of experience working in machine shop environment. • Minimum 2 years of multi-spindle lathe experience, including live tooling. • HAAS experience is a plus. • Well versed in CAM software with CNC mill and lathe experience. • 5 Axis milling experience and G-Code/M-Code programming is a plus. • Experience with calculating feeds and speeds based on cutter type, cutter geometry and parent material type. • This position may require the incumbent to work with export-controlled items. Physical Requirements: Strength and Stamina: The job may involve lifting and moving parts or materials, typically up to 50lbs. The ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours) is required. Manual Dexterity: Precise hand movements are necessary for handling tools, making adjustments to machines and operating a computer. Visual Acuity: Good eyesight, including close vision and depth perception, is important for detailed work and inspecting finished parts. Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, and crouching is required, along with the ability to maneuver around machinery and equipment. Coordination: The role requires good hand-eye coordination to operate machines safely and effectively.
