ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (machining centers), with a preference for experience using HAAS controls. • Operate and maintain manual lathes and mills as needed for prototype or low-volume production work. • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM systems with at least 2 years of experience, demonstrating a strong desire to continually improve and optimize processes. • Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure parts meet precise engineering specifications. • Apply knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and material properties to select appropriate tooling and machining parameters. • Perform basic inspection and measurement of machined parts; experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) is considered a strong asset. • Collaborate effectively with engineering, scientific, assembly, and machine shop teams to support product development and manufacturing goals.
