We are currently looking for a Machinist to join our organization in Cheyenne, Wyoming. PURPOSE OF POSITION The Machinist is responsible to operate machines and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the proper cleaning and preparation of castings as stated in the OMS/process sheet; efficiently inspect finished work. Task And Responsibilities • Safely operate jib, overhead crane, manual mills and Grade B machines • * Read and follow the production schedule • * Able to work with little supervision • * Adhere to Nortrak's Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies • * Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or climbing. • * Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. • * Regularly lift and move up to 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds. • * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. • * Hearing abilities related to job assigned.
