Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models. • Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes effectively. • Manufacture large aerospace components from exotic materials, if applicable. • Adapt to a fast-paced R&D environment and manage various projects simultaneously. Basic Qualifications: • High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of precision machining experience. • Proficiency in operating CNC Mills & CNC Lathes. • Ability to lift at least 35+ pounds unassisted. • Willingness to work overtime when necessary. • Full-time availability for a 4-day, 10-hour shift – 2nd shift. • Must be a US Citizen and possess (or be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or eligibility for a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with complex aerospace components made from exotic materials like Titanium. • 5-axis and/or mill-turn expertise is a plus. • Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens 840D controls. • Two years of experience with 2D & 3D CAM software. • Background in prototype machining.
