We have a full time licensed PE on staff and have considerable trenchless utility installation experience. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of an Asphalt Milling Machine or Cold Planer, to mill asphalt/concrete to specified requirements for each job. Also must be able to control and manipulate hand levers to operate milling machines for asphalt, concrete, stone, or dirt surface on roadways, parking lots, streets, and highways and assist in changing carbide teeth in the milling machine using traditional or pneumatic hammers when necessary. Candidates for this position must possess the following: 5 years milling machine experience Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently Physical ability to climb onto and off the milling machine as required during operations Ensure efficient working condition of equipment by performing minor servicing and maintenance tasks, or reporting major issues to the supervisor Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle, tools, and equipment, and promptly report any safety concerns to management Ability to travel for overnight work for extended periods Must possess a Valid Driver’s License Must pass a Drug Test This is a physically demanding position. Candidate must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. Employee must occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
