We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Machine Operator. This role is based in our facility in Lawton, OK and reports to the Production Manager. Starting pay for this role is $22.66/hour and it does require that you can work 12 hour shifts- days or nightsJob Summary We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. Principal Responsibilities With training, this position assists in the operation of extruders and associated equipment. On a production line, perform quality checks using micrometers, calibers, and tape measures. Package pipe in accurate pallet sizes and quantities and document production Use basic hand tools and operate forklift. Identify, transfer, and load material for production Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions Identify, remove and report scrap in compliance with work instructions Troubleshoot problems that involve multiple-choice options and determine the most appropriate course of action Support and stay in sync with the efforts of the Joint, Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Maintain acceptable housekeeping, environmental and safe working conditions Perform a variety of other tasks as required Requirements High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred; plastics and/or extrusion experience is an asset Must be knowledgeable in imperial and metric measurement systems and basic math Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment Flexible to work 12-hour continental shifts (9:00 - 9:00, 84 hours bi-weekly) Working Conditions Manufacturing plant environment requiring varying degrees of physical labor consisting of lifting from light to heavy (up to 50 lbs.) Pheresis Process Technician

About the Role This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a skilled professional who will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment used in the pheresis process. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plasma collection centers. Key Responsibilities • Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process. • Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responding to specific alarms or signals that may occur during the process. • Disconnect the donor when the process is complete. • Maintain alertness and awareness to any reaction donor may have during or after the pheresis process and notify appropriate staff. • Use Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record incidents that occur during the pheresis process. • Link equipment and soft goods used in the pheresis process to the appropriate donor using PDA. • Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues. • Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system. • Understand policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs if applicable. • Maintain clean efficient work environment and ensure sufficient operating supplies and forms are available. • Promote safety in all actions. Required Skills and Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Able to perform basic math calculations.
