Miguel Dairy Service (MDS) GARDEN CITY, KS Location – Dairy Service Technician As a Dairy Service Technician, responsibilities include performing assigned projects in the Kansas area; including dairy system mechanical and process related analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and related documentation and communication. Daily responsibilities include; completing daily tasks scheduled by Dispatch Manager, scheduled “On-Call” rotation, maintain truck inventory, complete any special projects asked of by higher Management. Perform field work on dairy equipment. Perform technical service calls and diagnose service issues. Communicate with dispatcher to document service time, receive routing and work order information and to start new work orders. Communicate with warehouse Manager to order parts, request stock items, maintain truck inventory/supplies, document material and parts use. Participate in technical training and development, including improving technical skills and company processes and procedures. Gain knowledge through technical studies. Attend company safety meetings, briefings or safety training sessions. Participate in company safety and quality programs. Technicians are required to keep a positive relationship with current customers. Keep vehicle and work shop area clean and maintained.
