Job Title: Concrete Carpenter Location: Various Job Sites Across the Rio Grande Valley Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Occasional Saturdays Pay Rate: Based on Experience Job Overview: We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Concrete Carpenters to join our team. This position involves reporting daily to the shop and traveling with the crew in company vehicles to job sites throughout the Rio Grande Valley, including McAllen, Edinburg, Weslaco, Harlingen, and Brownsville. The ideal candidate will have experience with concrete formwork, layout, and structural carpentry on commercial or civil construction projects. Responsibilities: • Build, set, and strip concrete forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, curbs, and other structures • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber, plywood, and form panels using hand and power tools • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork layout • Install formwork systems (wood, metal, or prefabricated) to exact dimensions and alignments • Place and secure rebar, embed plates, and other structural components within forms • Ensure proper bracing and support of forms to withstand the concrete pour • Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and safe condition • Ride with the crew in company trucks to assigned job sites daily Requirements: • 2+ years of concrete carpentry or formwork experience preferred • Strong knowledge of forming systems and concrete construction methods • Ability to read and understand construction drawings • Proficient in using carpentry tools, power saws, levels, and measuring tapes • Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments • Must be reliable, punctual, and work well within a team • Valid driver’s license is a plus (not required to ride in company vehicles) Benefits: • Consistent, full-time work with overtime opportunities • Company-provided transportation from shop to job sites
