Our company mission is to complete all our projects safely, on time, on target and on budget while having a positive impact in the community. Responsibilities Performs manual labor tasks as required. May include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading, and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Under the supervision of a higher-level operation or maintenance employee, performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance, repair or operation of various installations and facilities. • Assist welders, carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople on-site. • Clean up worksites from debris and machinery. • Handle and transport materials, i.e., cement. • Handle power tools and materials, i.e., such as saws and drills. • Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks i.e., digging, stacking goods. • Put up warning signs for vehicles and passerby. • Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures, i.e., scaffolding. • Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions. • Performs other duties as described under Helper.Qualifications • Follow oral and written direction and plans. • Responsible for the health and safety of others. Practices good safety habits. • Perform a variety of duties which may often change. • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. • Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure. • Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, methods, and techniques. • On-the-job training required. May require driver’s license. • Minimum OSHA 10 required. • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, walk, and work at heights for extended periods of time. • Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects. • Lift and carry materials, sometimes weighing 50 to 100 pounds. • Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools and equipment. • Must always wear protective or safety equipment, i.e., safety boots/shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats and follow safety guidelines.Equal Employment Opportunity Posillico Civil, Inc. is committed to maintaining a working environment that promotes teamwork and diversity and that is free of any and all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
