Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a key leader on the job site, you will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of excellence while mentoring less experienced team members. Responsibilities • Interpret and accurately read blueprints and shop drawings to determine project specifications. • Allocate tasks and guide carpentry crews, ensuring timely and efficient project execution. • Collaborate with management to advise on best building practices and provide insights for project improvement. • Mentor and train less experienced workers, fostering skill development and teamwork. • Maintain a high level of craftsmanship, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and quality expectations. • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success. • Troubleshoot challenges on the job site to keep projects moving smoothly and on schedule. Skills • Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. • Deep knowledge of carpentry techniques and experience with both hand and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction plans. • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality. • Excellent leadership abilities, capable of mentoring and guiding less experienced workers. • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively. • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Commercial carpentry experience preferred, but not required. Rough Carpenter

The rough carpenter constructs and repairs structural woodworks and equipment, working from blueprints, drawings, or oral instructions for highway, roads, and bridges ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Measure materials or distances using square, measuring tape, or rule to lay out work • Study blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions of structure or form to be constructed • Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, and power saw or woodworking machines • Mark cutting lines on materials, using pencil and scriber • Anchor and brace forms and other structures in place, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges, and timbers • Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting company’s safety culture • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED required • At least 2 years’ experience in highway, bridge, sewer, and road construction SKILLS / KEY COMPETENCIES • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of structures for highways, bridges, sewers, and roads • Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry, etc. • Knowledge of machines, tools, designs, uses, repair, and maintenance • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exercise discretion and independent judgement when handling day to day information • Excellent time-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities • Ability to work cooperatively across all levels delivering on commitments – results oriented • Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure to meet department targets and deadlines • Ability to work non-routine hours, when necessary • Ability and willingness to travel as required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to work outdoors, exposed to heat and humidity, cold and rain, and around heavy traffic areas • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another • Ability to operate job related tools • Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers • Work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds and up to 150 pounds with help • Ability to frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions BAY LTD IS

Job Description 1. Reads and understands blueprints, drawings, and sketches. 2. Selects proper size and type of building materials according to the project specifications and dimensions. 3. Plans the installation to avoid obstructions. 4. Prepares the layout using rule, framing square, and chalk line. 5. Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials, using pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. 6. Shapes materials to prescribed measurements, using skill saws, table saws, band saws, etc. 7. Assembles cut and shaped materials by fastening them together with nails or screws. 8. Verifies the trueness of a structure using a plumb bob and carpenters level. 9. Erects shoring and installs plywood decking. 10. Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete. 11. Unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. 12. Assists in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation. 13. Cleans tools and equipment. 14. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. 15. Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials. 16. Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above/below ground as necessary. Must have experience working at heights and a functional knowledge of proper use of fall protection equipment. 17. Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools. 18.
