As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in constructing the framework of buildings, ensuring that structures are safe, stable, and built to specifications. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall success of our projects. You must have your own tools. Duties • Construct and install frameworks for buildings using wood, metal, or other materials. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. • Have residential renovation and repair experience. • Execute trim carpentry work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. • Ensure accurate measurements and alignments during framing processes. • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when necessary. • Install drywall and plaster as part of the finishing process. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: • Proficiency in concrete forming and finishing techniques. • Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. • Experience in trim carpentry and frame carpentry. • Knowledge of metal stud framing methods. • Familiarity with drywall installation and plastering techniques. • Competence in operating heavy equipment safely. • Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
