Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in building decks and steps. This role requires a willingness to learn and develop skills in carpentry while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Must be physically capable and able to work outside., Duties • Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials. • Help with the installation of structures such as framing, flooring, and cabinetry. • Support in tile laying, siding installation, and stucco application. • Participate in the fabrication of wooden structures and components. • Use power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. • Aid in caulking joints and seams to ensure proper sealing. • Assist with restoring existing structures to maintain quality and safety. • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Follow all safety protocols while on job sites. Skills • Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus. • Ability to fabricate wooden components accurately. • Capability to restore existing carpentry work as needed. • Strong understanding of plumb techniques for ensuring level installations. • Proficient use of power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns.
