Job Summary (as defined by a contract). A Crate and Pallet Builder is responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining wooden or plastic pallets used for storage and transportation. This role requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to construct durable pallets according to company specifications. As a 1099 contractor, you will supply your own tools. You will be paid $20.00 per hour for 40 hours plus 10 hours overtime pay, working a total of 50 hours per week. This assignment has a start date of 4/7/25 and lasts for approximately sixty (60) days. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble wooden or plastic pallets using hand tools, nail guns, and saws. • Repair damaged pallets by replacing broken boards and reinforcing weak areas. • Measure and cut materials to the correct dimensions. • Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and staplers to construct pallets. • Load, unload, and stack pallets in an organized manner. • Inspect pallets for defects and ensure quality standards are met. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Follow company safety guidelines and wear protective equipment as required.
