Skilled Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Carpenter. This role requires a strong background in various construction and carpentry techniques, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes experience in construction estimating, trim and frame carpentry, and proficiency with both hand and power tools. The successful applicant will be expected to work effectively on construction sites, collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Responsibilities • Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed. • Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. • Engage in concrete forming, plastering, fabrication, rebar installation, and roofing as required. • Conduct woodworking tasks including cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. • Participate in restoration projects such as water damage restoration, mold remediation, and remodeling efforts. • Carry out masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing tasks, and electrical work as needed. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks. Experience • Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry and restoration. • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols. • Ability to handle various materials including stucco, siding, metal studs, and drywall. • Experience with CNC machinery or assembly processes is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to changing project requirements. • Previous maintenance person experience is beneficial for this role.
