Key Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to project specifications • Assemble and install frameworks, fixtures, doors, windows, drywall, and sheetrock • Repair, maintain, and refurbish existing wooden structures and surfaces • Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies at job sites • Handle, move, and organize materials safely and efficiently • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Requirements: • Proven experience as a carpenter in residential or commercial construction • Skilled in using hand and power tools, tape measures, levels, and other carpentry tools • Experience with drywall installation, sheetrock finishing, and general framing • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (preferred) • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
