Journeyman Carpenter Artistree Home has immediate openings for a Journeyman Carpenter (full-time) for our boutique resort development project located in Fredericksburg, Texas. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with general construction, such as building, erecting, installing, and repairing forms, structures, and other fixtures. The individual will assist with various types of other construction projects, as needed, and be able to follow directions. Requirements: • Minimum of 4 years of carpentry experience. • Perform all facets of construction from frame to finish carpentry. • Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns. • Ability to read blueprints. • Attention to detail and design. • Analytical Thinking /Problem-Solving. • Provide guidance and supervision for apprentice carpenters and laborers. • Be responsible for tool care and maintenance. Trim Carpenter Helper Qualifications: • Some basic carpentry knowledge and experience in residential trim carpentry. • Able to interact with our team and lead carpenter in a professional manner. • Must have an eye for detail, mathematical skills, including measurements and meticulous. • Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding, and ability to lift or move 50 pounds regularly. • Demonstrate ability for the operation and maintenance of hand, air, and power tools effectively. • Driver’s license required.
