As a Field Engineer, you will embark on an exciting journey, traveling to various construction sites and working at the cutting edge of sustainability. Your primary responsibilities will include independently inspecting and monitoring construction activities, ensuring they align with our blueprints and meet all necessary specifications and codes. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you identify significant issues and collaborate with project management to overcome challenges. Location & Travel Details: Youll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build renewable projects. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. Youll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses. This position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite. Wind-Energy Environmental Manager, Revolution Wind | Providence, RI (Hybrid)

About the position Imagine a future where you're helping to secure and implement the permits for our Offshore wind farms located along the east coast of the US. Join us in this role where you'll play a key role in delivering our offshore wind projects on the east coast of the United States. Our team of environmental and permitting specialists work to secure permits from federal and state agencies. In this role, you'll support our Revolution Wind project located off the coast of Connecticut and Rhode Island. You'll be part of our offshore wind Permitting team where you, together with your colleagues, will help drive permitting success by being involved in a range of environmental, permitting, and scientific topics to support securing and implementing permits for federal and state permits for our offshore wind farm, exporting cables, and onshore links to the existing transmission grid. As a team, we work closely with the Revolution project team, environmental specialists, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders to advance the Revolution Offshore Wind project through construction and into operations. In this position, you will be an integral member of the projects permitting team, coordinating efficient environmental and regulatory reviews, and preparing application material. You will advance the implementation of the project's cultural heritage mitigation, utilizing information already gathered for the project, ensuring cross-project consistency and information exchange, and building on lessons learned from across our portfolio. Your role will also involve setting the project up for success for construction and operation by ensuring that the permits secured for the project are complied with in close collaboration with the project team. Additionally, you will identify and offer solutions and strategies to the project's permitting leadership team to avoid or minimize risks within the project's permitting scope of work. Client: The Client you will be working for is a Fortune global leader in the Renewable Energy industry. They specialize in Utility Scale Wind and Solar Development. This opportunity will give you experience in the growing Offshore Wind industry in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in sustainable energy. · Location of work will be onshore at the Orsted Quonset Site. Preferrably local to the area, as travel expenses will not be covered. Rotation: days on/off. If all parties agree (both coordinators working back to back and the offshore site managers), it can be changed to days on/off if preferred. Responsibilities - Supervision of harbour site activities - All PPE is up to date - Crane and forklift operations - Stock and warehouse monitoring - Maintenance of site facilities. Tasks Assist the project HSE department regarding harbour site specific issues. Support the Offshore Site team. Management of safety equipment: offshore PPE kits, keeping record of inventory/certification, monitoring service life of PPE. Site stock management – consumables for the building.
