Let's Redefine Possible Project Name: Top Hat Wind Project Project Location: Chestnut, IL 62518 PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION Operates equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures. The base compensation range for this role is $21 - $38 per hour. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity. SUMMARY OF EXPECTED OUTCOMES High quality, professional work product performed with initiative, productivity, a positive attitude and behavior Performance should meet or exceed the established standards, goals, and accountabilities of the position RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: Blade Dozer Loader Scraper Forklift/Telehandler Crane Bobcat/Skid-steer Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts Roller Follows prescribed safety regulations Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction Follows work plans and pre-task cards Other duties and responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS Strong teamwork orientation Positive attitude and professional customer service skills Detail orientation Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment Open to change based on diverse input and feedback Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Adaptive, effective communication and active listening skills Strong cross-cultural relationship building and influencing at all organizational levels Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts Knowledge of equipment and their uses Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication) Strong teamwork orientation Positive attitude and professional customer service skills Ability to work independently Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment This position description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
