Job Description Summary Responsible for setting up and operating assigned machines Job Description Essential Responsibilities: • Runs product as required • Completes machine set-up • Loads tool and tool holders as required • Jaw cutting and re-cutting • Sets fixture offsets as required • Verifies correct tool hardware, tool diameter, tool radius, drill length and end mills • Verifies accuracy of tool offset changes as needed • Perform periodic inspections of calibration • Read and process parts and visual braze inspection • Maintains accurate work records • Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts • Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills • Read, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations • Have working knowledge of precision measuring equipment and demonstrated ability to work within a team environment • Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal • Follow and promote safe work practices • Support lean initiatives • Lift light to medium weight in an environment that may occasionally require crouching, stooping and / or awkward work positions • Willingness to support team concept and learn / perform other duties as required • Milling and Turning experience Additional Information GE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
