Job Description Manager, Field Services - Wind Turbines Location: Remote Position Overview As the Manager, Field Services you will provide day-to-day management of Field Service personnel. You will be responsible for supporting the guidance and technical needs of major component, blade repair, site support, and new site start-up teams. Responsibilities • Scheduling and oversight of Field Service personnel responsible for wind turbine major component repair and replacement, and general site support. • Oversee scheduling and provide guidance to employees and contractors responsible for new site start up • Effectively work with onsite Operations and Maintenance Managers, Regional Directors, Asset Management, Construction Management and Engineering to communicate current and future scopes of work. • Coordinate Field Service personnel to ensure staff is trained and prepared to support operations. • Clearly communicate site safety, productivity, schedules, budgets, and work scope issues. • Represent Invenergy to internal and external stakeholders. • Manage and oversee contractor safety and quality on various scopes of work. • Recruit, select, train, and manage Field Services personnel. • Provide a high level of professionalism and technical expertise. Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent. • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. • Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet). • Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks. • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. • Position will require you to travel at least 50% of the time. • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Base Pay Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 10% - 40% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
