About the position Responsibilities • Construct, inspect, and repair tracks and other railroad assets. • Lift and carry track material as part of track maintenance duties. • Operate and maintain 26K+ lb trucks safely and efficiently. • Perform welding, grinding, and cutting of rail according to BNSF procedures. • Maintain records and timesheets while adhering to safety regulations. • Engage in daily safety conversations and follow safety policies. Requirements • Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship now and in the future. • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Ability to report for duty at the designated work location. • Ability to work safely in diverse and extreme weather conditions. • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs occasionally. • Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or able to obtain one within 60 days of employment. • Able to visually distinguish colors and discriminate between verbal and non-verbal sounds. • Ability to use hands and hand tools for various tasks.
