PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Follow instructions from supervisors to move Wind Tower sections, set up and operate MIG welders, and complete daily build schedules. • Weld, grind, and repair Wind Tower sections to prepare them for Quality Inspection. • Repair all weld defects as identified by Quality Inspectors. • Perform most work independently; essential tools and welding equipment are provided, but maintenance and accountability are the employee's responsibility. • Work efficiently to ensure timely delivery of error-free products. • Clamp, grind, tack-weld, or bolt components into position prior to welding. • Identify and communicate maintenance or product issues to departmental supervision. • Comply with all NOV Company and Safety policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned.
