Handling Materials and Tools: A welder helper assists with moving materials, loading and unloading tools, and ensuring welders have necessary supplies. Basic Welding Tasks: Under the supervision of an experienced welder, they may perform simple welding tasks. Welder Helper Responsibilities • * Attend on-site safety meetings. • Maintain cleanliness of work areas. • Assist welders in setting up rigs and moving them between work areas. • Ensure welders have necessary materials and tools (such as rods and grinding discs). • Maintain stock levels of materials and supplies. • Follow welders' instructions to adjust welding machine temperatures. • Use buffers and grinders to clean welds. • Operate various tools and equipment. • Identify safety risks and hazards, complying with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
