RESPONSIBILITIES: Welder 1, 2, 3 • Study/follow job order, documentation and sample product to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece. • Select material/equipment to plan and follow through with layout, assembly and welding. • Repair product as needed. • Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment. • Other duties as assigned. • Set up equipment and weld parts, using various arc, gas shielded arc, or gas welding equipment. • Inspect welded joints to ensure welds meet company standards, national code requirements and customer job 5E. • Submits orders to the purchasing department for materials. • Manages workflow of welding area. WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts; in high perch places; and in outside weather conditions. Job Details Job Location Pampa Fab - Pampa, TX Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Manufacturing Description Fabricates, repairs, and assembles compressor packages in accordance to Flogistix specifications and standards. Primary duties involve welding but also include operating fabrication equipment to include but not limited to welding machine, grinders, saws, drills, power tools, and hand tools. May perform other duties assigned by supervisor. Mig Welder (Day Shift)

Work from the directions of the supervisor to move Wind Tower sections, set up and operate the mig welders, Follow and complete daily build schedule. Weld, grind, and repair each Wind Tower section prior to presenting it to the Quality Inspectors. This person will also repair all weld defects as directed by the Quality Inspectors Perform most of the work individually. Essential tools and welding equipment will be provided, however, accountability and maintenance will be the employee's responsibility Work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors Perform other duties as directed by leaders and management Clamp, grind, tack-weld, or bolt components into position before welding Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all safety policies and procedures. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required.
