Key Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding with the ability to work independently and complete projects without constant supervision. • Execute TIG welding with precision, especially on stainless steel and aluminum (bonus eligible). • Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. • Use a variety of tools including welders, torches, grinders, clippers, gauges, hand and power tools. Expected Results • Successfully pass a weld test. • Demonstrate consistent MIG welding proficiency and the ability to “do your own way out.” • Deliver high-quality welds on stainless and aluminum using TIG methods. Job Duties • Under direct supervision with an assigned mentor or coach, performs standard operations specifically used in the welding process. • This may include MIG(GMAW), TIG(GTAW), Submerged Arc(SAW), Flux Core(FCAW), and Stick(SMAW welding. Qualifications • Skills typically acquired through the completion of High School/GED/Secondary School and a minimum of 6 months of experience. • 1-2 years of related experience and certification in welding or equivalent is preferred. • Completion of MIG(GMAW and Flux Core(FCAW) welding tests during the interview process is required. Work Schedule The standard work schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Due to operational demands, there is a high likelihood of overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours as needed to support production goals.
