Fabrication Welder

New Tech Global is currently Fabrication Welders for a client in Duncan, OK. Shift: 6:00 AM TO 4:30 PM WITH POSSIBLE OVERTIME WEEKLY Pay:$24.80 - $30.80 hourly Overview • Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. • Determine the most appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. • Set up components for welding according to specifications. • Set up equipment and apply appropriate welding techniques to produce quality welds. • Assemble parts by bolting and riveting. • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. • Inspect and test welds to determine whether the weld is of suitable quality for its intended application. • Ensure all work performed is in a quality-minded, tidy & accurate manner. • Adhere to all Company policies. • Follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. • Attend work per the work schedule. • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED. • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related welding experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience. • Basic reading, writing, and math skills (required). • Minimum of 4-5 years of TIG and MIG welding experience. • Previous experience making X-Ray quality welds. • Must have your own tools; measuring tools, grinders, and any other tools used to be for layout and welds. • Manufacturing experience. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to pass pulmonary Function and Respiratory Function Tests. • Must be able to pass a weld test. • Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels, and tape measures. • Must be able to work under limited supervision. • Must possess good communication skills. • Attention to details. • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and application techniques common to this trade.
