See More Details >>Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Reports To: Production Foreman Department: Production Position Summary The purpose of this role is to safely perform welding and fabrication of products such as steel cans, chutes, mechanical assemblies, and related steel components utilizing various welding equipment – under the direction of the Production Foreman. Duties: • Perform welding functions in accordance with industry quality standards. • Perform fabrication functions in accordance with industry quality standards. • Perform welding in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. • Communicate with project manager, other employees, contract partners, and the customer to ensure proper procedures are being followed. • Perform equipment set-up and adjustment of welding equipment to produce quality welds. • Perform operation of mechanized welding equipment as applicable to ensure efficiencies and quality for customers. • Other duties as assigned. This position makes equipment repairs, modifications and adaptations using a variety of equipment and technique in performing complex layout of welded equipment components.
