Position Duties: • Utilize your welding skills to ensure the structural integrity of storage tanks through various techniques like stick and flux core welding. • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure your welding tasks meet all specifications. • Inspect your work for quality control, promptly addressing any issues you may uncover. • Work alongside your team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time. • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols. • Keep your welding equipment in top shape with routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Requirements • At least a year of welding experience, ideally in the storage tank industry. • Attention to detail with a skill for spotting potential defects. • A willingness to lift heavy equipment and engage in physically demanding tasks. • Strong communication abilities coupled with a collaborative spirit. • A passion for travel and the flexibility to work in various locations. • A TWIC card might be required • Be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing. • Background checks will also be included in the hiring procedure. • Must be over 18 and eligible to work in the United States. Welder

Summary Welds metal parts with welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Understands OSHA, AISC & AWS Standards relating to welding and that working safely is a job requirement. • Understands and complies with CSE, Inc. Safety Program, rules, regulations and updates; works within AISC Standard Practice codes relating to welding • *Becomes familiar with supervisory personnel, job activity to be performed, site hazard communication program, site safety rules and regulations, and site emergency action** 2. Follows directions and assumes responsibility of assisting Foreman on site by completing the following tasks: • Assists with inspecting and identifying hazards associated with all welding • Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench floor, or clamps parts together along with layout • Obtains specified electrode and inserts electrode into portable threads consumable electrode wire through portable welding • Selects torch, torch tip, filler rod and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of • Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse; Connects regulator valves and hoses to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders, and welding • Strikes (forms) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work • Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired • Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of air and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten • Holds torch at proper angle and guides along weld joint, applying filler rod to molten area to form • Fits materials together prior to • Has thorough knowledge in fabrication including lay-out, cutting, grinding • Has the ability to weld FCAW, SMAW, and3.
