Our products are specified, sold, and installed throughout North America and in more than 100 international markets. 3rd shift; Monday - Thursday 8PM - 6:30AM (Must be able to train on 1st shift) Valtir is hiring a production welder for 3rd shift to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints schematics and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. What you'll do: • Performs flat fillet welds • Fits and welds simple assemblies • Accurately measures within specified tolerances • Reads blueprints • May operate automatic welding equipment (robotic welding) • Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records. • Follows all safety rules and practices. • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Working Environment: • Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. • The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant. • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes. • Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant.
