Responsibilities Use Gas Metal Arc and Metal Core Arc welding processes to weld parts according to print specifications. Inspect parts as per print specifications. Set up and adjust welders and fixtures to meet print specifications. Use carbon arc air gouging and cutting processes for rework. Use hand grinders to fit parts, rework defective welds, and grind welds flush as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read blueprints, use tape measure, understand weld symbols, basic math, reasoning, and analysis skills. Previous welding experience preferred.
