Job Title: Welder Job Description This role is a MIG welding role. You will be responsible for setting up all material for the weld, following a blueprint or work instructions to complete the weld, and welding everything together. You will be welding on material up to 1/2 inch thick, including flat, vertical, and horizontal positions. Responsibilities include performing multi-pass welds (up to 3 times) primarily on steel material and executing a lot of tack welds. Initial tasks will include tack welding until fully trained in all processes. As you demonstrate more skill, you will handle more complex welds. Typical Qualifications • Journeyman Millwright and/or Journeyman Welder certification. • Several years of experience in both trades, with supervisory experience. • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, confined space, rigging). • Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites.
