Job Title: MIG Welder Job Description Join our team as a 1st shift MIG Welder, where you will fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel components. Your role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints, fitting, marking, placing, tacking, and MIG welding steel parts such as beams, trusses, columns, stairs, and handrails. If not already certified, you will receive GMAW (MIG) certification due to the nature of welding structural parts. Additionally, you may be required to operate CNC machines, plasma tables, assist in the paint/prime area, or work in the yard using overhead cranes and forklifts. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, with a positive attitude, and reliable attendance. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of steel components. • Perform MIG welding on structural steel parts including beams, trusses, and columns. • Fit, mark, place, tack, and weld steel parts with precision. • Operate CNC machines, plasma tables, and assist in paint/prime area as needed. • Utilize overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling. • Collaborate with team members and adapt to various tasks beyond welding. Essential Skills • MIG welding experience on steel. • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. • Team player with adaptability. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift experience. • Overhead crane experience. • CNC machine experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
