Aluminum TIG Welder The BlueEarth Marine Group, maker of RH Aluminum, Fish-Rite and UltraSport Boats is now accepting applications for an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder to join its innovative and dynamic team in Grants Pass, Oregon. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Read/interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine welding layout and fabrication requirements • Connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions • Examine weld for bead size and other specifications • Repair broken or cracked parts and fills holes • Position and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixtures • Select torch, filler ford and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material • Chip off excess weld, slag and spatter, and clean/de-greases parts • Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Previous TIG welding experience • Able to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents • Able to use weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances • Able to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals • Able to read a tape measure • *Candidates must pass a drug screen and other pre-employment job requirements** Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
