The Journeyman Maintenance Welder main responsibility is to make necessary repairs to manufacturing equipment. You will service various industrial machinery and equipment, and plant facilities. The Journeyman Maintenance Welder will perform planned corrective maintenance welding, repair and fabrications to support maintenance and production operations. Weld shop, brackets or supports related to machinery, vessel or vacuum system repairs, emergency repairs, and redline drawings are all part of the responsibilities of a Journeyman Maintenance Welder. To be successful in this position you will be detail oriented, with the ability to follow both written and verbal Instructions, understand Engineering Drawings and/or Shop Sketches and their related tolerances, organized to ensure accuracy, and have mechanical, troubleshooting, intermediate math, and computer skills.
