Combo Pipe Welder Job Responsibilities: • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly • Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plates, pipes and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment • Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and avoid interfering with the activities of other workers • Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools • Weld in any direction – flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions Benefits – Company subsidized health insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, paid vacation, and opportunities for continuing education.
