Welder – 2nd shift

If you're reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to put your skills to work, this could be the role for you. What You’ll Do: • Set up and operate MIG, hard face, and AC/DC portable welders • Use torches, hydraulic presses, and fixtures to produce quality parts • Inspect finished components for accuracy and defects • Follow shop safety practices and process instructions • Communicate job details to team members and supervisors • Assist with preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area What You Bring: • High school diploma or GED required • Welding school certifications and 1+ year of welding experience preferred • Able to read blueprints, follow work instructions, and interpret welding symbols • Comfortable using measuring tools and doing basic math (including fractions/decimals/metric) • Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout your shift • Willing to pass a welding certification test (required) Bonus Points For: • 5+ years in manufacturing with progressive promotions. • Experience with fixture setup and multiple welding types. • Lean manufacturing knowledge. • Having your own welding helmet/tools. Job Description MIG Welder Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs, preventative maintenance and safety inspections on equipment and trailers. Follow all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations.
