Good written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous welding experience is preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform assembly operations utilizing appropriate processes, tools and work instructions in order to meet customer’s quality, cost and delivery requirements. • Complete production requirements daily. • Support Quality Control through post-delivery tasks as required. • Provide training for new associates or fellow associates new to a process. • Support Quality built into the process by ensuring the quality of parts and assemblies when received at a process. • Monitor the accuracy of processes and equipment. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Complete production requirements daily. • Perform mig welding on appropriate processes. • Support initiatives relating to 5S and Kaizen programs. • Ensure safe operations. • All other duties as assigned. • Must have an understanding of manufacturing fundamentals and JIT principles, high manual dexterity and good visual acuity to work with parts.
