Advanced Responsibilities: • Master various welding techniques including pipe welding, GMAW, and SMAW in all positions. • Obtain certification in recognized welding standards such as AWS D1.1. • Perform single and multi-pass welds in diverse positions. • Conduct preventative and basic maintenance on welding machines and equipment. • Train and mentor less experienced welders. • Forklift certification is preferred. • Opportunity to be trained on advanced welding machinery, including Robot Welders. Qualifications: • Technical certifications may substitute for experience. • Preferred certifications in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.
