Brief Description: This position is primarily responsible for operating welding machines to join or connect various types of metal parts, selecting and setting up welding equipment, interpreting blueprints while determining which specifications to apply. The incumbent operates both hand and power tools, some heavy equipment, while working in all types of inclement weather conditions. Job tasks and assignments may vary day to day.
