Electrician Apprentice

Location: Idaho Employment Type: Full-time AgriPower Solar (APS) is a renewable energy source company, installing large utility power production solar arrays in rural areas. APS is currently looking for an electrician apprentice with training and experience in the electrical field. The work offered is nearly exclusively located in rural areas. As such the candidate must be willing to travel. The scope of work will include the installation of underground cable, conduit and circuitry. Making final connections with PV arrays and inverters. Installing main disconnects and feeders, making final connections to the utility power sources, etc. Systems sizes vary from 200amps to well over 1000amps AC. Training on the PV side of the installation will be provided where necessary, however the larger scope of work is on the AC side. About Us: AgriPower Systems designs state of the art, end to end solar power systems for farmers and agricultural businesses across the Western United States (primarily in Idaho and Utah). Key Responsibilities • Follow plans and diagrams • Follow local and national codes • Make and keep schedules • Order and maintain materials • Move trailers and equipment Expectations: • Vehicle and gas card are provided • A current drivers license with a good record is required • Experience with towing trailers and working with equipment is preferred • Perdiem is paid on out of town work • Work schedule is flexible • Paid holidays and vacation • Health insurance Preferred Background: • Training and experience in the electrical field • Must have Idaho Electrical Apprentice License • Must have a good driving record Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Overtime • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
