About the position The Solar Program Manager will oversee the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe's participation in the EPA Solar for All program, a five-year initiative aimed at deploying solar energy solutions in 199 homes. This role involves planning, managing, and coordinating various aspects of the program, including budget management, contract development, and community engagement to enhance energy literacy and job opportunities in the energy sector. Responsibilities • Lead the management and coordination of the Solar for All program across various departments. , • Provide periodic updates to FSST leadership on plans, budgets, and progress. , • Develop a deployment plan for solar, energy efficiency, and electrification measures. , • Create work scopes, contracts, invoicing, and payments for subcontractors and consultants. , • Research and assist in securing federal and private funding sources. , • Support the development of education and training programs for tribal members. , • Conduct on-site visits to ensure adherence to program policies and monitor solar infrastructure activities. , • Collaborate with Indigenized Energy team members on outreach activities and quality control measures. , • Supervise interns and support their training and development. , • Prepare and submit required energy-related reports.
